During my previous post, I mentioned that I had the opportunity to see not one, but two friends while I was on my workcation!

My friend Nikki is the one of the first friends I met in Charlotte, outside of co-workers. And she was a hook-up from my friends at home lol. We met and hit it off. She introduced me to her friends and we all became friends (sounds like a song lol). I had not seen her since my going away dinner in Charlotte. I left first and she left 2 years later. It’s funny how life is so different now for us both, she’s a Mommy x’s 2 and I have a husband! We’ve become closer, even with more distance between us, unfortunately through the deaths of our Dad’s, within 2 months of each other. Nikki, I can truly say you are a great friend! You have NO idea how helpful our fb inbox messages back and forth helped me during one of the toughest times in my life! I appreciate and love you for being there for me! I had a great time visiting with you and the boys! And that power shopping we did the morning I was leaving was priceless! LOL
