Since today’s date is so special and will not happen for another 100 years, and it’s also Veteran’s Day, what better date to make my new blog debut than today! So, that’s right, baby, I’m back!

I wanted to give my blog a facelift with a new name, look and host site. The name change was brought about because a year after blogging under my former blog, KurlyBella AKAtude, there is another person that goes by the very name KurlyBella. What are the odds, spelled the same way, but it is what it is. We actually follow each other on Twitter. So, the new blog name, Kurlylicious, which my husband is not fond of came about with me just trying to come up with something else. I love natural hair, I still love Kurly with a K, I try to be somewhat different, and not difficult, so I thought why not add licious on the end of that?! Can you tell I had the song Bootylicious in my head? LOL Now, you might wonder, what is Kurlylicious? Well, it’s me, I’m Kurly with an AKAtude, , that can sometimes be an attitude, but I’m still fabulous!

Now, my new blog look came from the oh, so talented and patient Christina, the woman behind Visual Luxe. Please check out her work, it’s awesome! I had no idea what I wanted and I’m sure I worked her nerves with the countless e-mails, but she did a phenonomenal job of my blog design, an upgraded facelift indeed! Thank you Christina! Your work speaks for itself and your professionalism was appreciated!

I changed the host site, because on any given day, it seems Blogger could trip and what prompted me to do it was when I posted about the first anniversary of my Daddy’s death, I lost the post for a couple of days, but I didn’t even know if I would get it back and Tazzee was nice enough to e-mail it to me, but that just sent me over the edge!

So, all of that to say, baby, I’m back! I still have a lot going on with work, managing a home – trying to be consistent with dinner for my husband and then there’s my social calendar, I’m busy yo! I’m happy to be back, I will try to stay on top of my posting game.
