>Flexi Rods Take 1

>I started with fresh clean hair, I shampooed with Shea Moisture Shampoo, co-washed a second time with Suave Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner, and detangled with my Tangle Teezer with GF Fructis Sleek and Shine Leave-In Conditioning Cream. That’s the pic below, I air dried a little while I cooked dinner – Turkey Burgers on Wheat buns and Sauteed Spinach.

I used 17 Purple, Long, Flexi Rods, 3/4″ in Diameter, along with lotta body setting lotion

I sat under the dryer for 2 hours and slept in the rods, not a good feeling and some were still damp dammit!

The verdict, I didn’t get my roots as straight as I would like, but I just made do this morning with Moroccan Oil and bobby pins. My girlfriend told me the next time to pull the rod tighter as I am rolling or another one suggested that I braid the root, then roll the rod, I will try one of these suggestions, although I tried to pull the root straight, lol. I think I will try the style again though, this time I will just camp out under the hair dryer and defnitely do it on the weekend, rather than a week night.

    >Thank You! I'm just glad I tried something different and didn't wait for someone else to do it for me. Next, after I master this, I'm going to try the 3 strand twist. It's supposed to have more definition.
