>The Weekend Continued

>I had a FULL weekend. I’m exhausted, but it was so much fun and all worth it!

Saturday

My high school’s multi-class picnic, our first one ever, and we had such a great turn out. Quite a few people from other high school’s crashed our joint too, that’s how you know Ramsay Did It On ‘Em!

One of the crashers, so glad to see him though! All the way from DC for his 20th year class reunion

Another crasher (family friend) & they wore their golf shirts, just no respect & my high school, college & neighborhood homeboy!

My husband, check out his t-shirt! LOL

Another crasher, my hair stylist when I go to the salon & his beautiful little girl, check out the shades!

I tried to get her to play with me, but she only wanted her Daddy

My classmate & THIS t-shirt!

I was so hot and exhausted by the time I got home, I just took a shower and got in the bed before 7 PM. I couldn’t hang at all to go out again!

Sunday

We woke up with Jesus on our mind and headed out to celebrate the opening of the new Bessemer Campus of the Worship Center Christian Church, which happens to be 3 miles from my house – Score! What had happened was, we rolled up on a traffic jam. See the pics below:

View coming over the bridge

After waiting 20 minutes, we just made our own parking space

We were not the only ones to make our own parking space apparently!
Bessemer PD is going to have a field day if they don’t get some control quick like!)

We ran into two of our neighbors and some friends too. We got a great word, and I’m so happy for the church! It has grown from 20 members to 7000 in five years.

Later that day, I headed out to the Preserve Jazz Festival. My husband backed out because he said it was too hot and he wanted to watch the game, so my girlfriend that always gets us the tickets just told me to hang out with her and it was a come up! She always has a nice tent set up, food and drinks too. Another score for me!

Eric Darius had them doing the Electric Slide

This was my first time staying until the end of the concert and since it got dark, I didn’t want to have to try to find my way back to the shuttle alone, so I had to get a ride back and after drinks and heat, I had to have help finding my car lol.

A great weekend indeed!

Until I sign in again – Deuces!
