Another great weekend has come to an end! And a whirlwind one I’ve had! Friday, my husband was just getting back into town and we were both tired, but we went to the Birmingham Urban League Young Professionals Bowling FUNdraiser. It was fun, but I was not at my best LOL. I even had my little friend to tell me she was going to teach me how to get a strike LOL.

Her Mommy had to tell me she meant on her Wii LOL!

Saturday, I had bookclub meeting, we discussed Kimberla Lawson Roby’s latest book:

Very fast read and the main character, bless her heart, was just a nut case!

I had to high tail it from bookclub, because I had chased some boots down at Belk and they were holding them for me. I then ran into Old Navy to make a return and ran up on a 5 hour frenzy sale, 75% off all outerwear! Score! I also had early dinner plans with some girlfriends. We’ve coined our outings, Wifey’s Night Out. We had a great meal at my favorite restaurant, Ocean, but the worst service I’ve ever experienced there, so I’m going to make a complaint to management. We attempted to go to a lounge afterwards, but the smoke was too much, so we called it an early night.

Sunday was a whole lot of lounging, but I did get out to go check out Old Navy again, today’s 5 hour frenzy sale was 75% off Sweaters! Score again! I can officially say I have started Christmas shopping! I also won’t have to rush to get gas tomorrow, I filled my car up today and then went to visit my Mom for a little bit before I came back home.

Now, it’s time to get ready for this 3 day work week! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is this week, but I can’t wait for the good eating and seeing friends and family.
