I’m now #TeamiPhone! I was never interested before. I went from Blackberry to Android, which was a hard adjustment initially, but I got the hang of it. I unexpectedly received an iPad 2 for my Birthday in 2011, something that I never asked for because I had my beloved NOOK and I knew the cost since I bought my husband one for his 40th! Once I decided to keep it, because yes, people, I’m crazy like that, I actually went into Apple to return it, but now I’m hooked!
So, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the time for me to upgrade my phone, which I have no clue how Sprint calculates this, because I got my Android on April 1, 2011, but whatevs, they said I was eligible to upgrage on February 1st and on the 2nd I was up in there! I was a very easy sale, I knew what I wanted before I got there, but I still checked out the Samsung Galaxy III just for shyts and giggles and if I wanted to carry around something almost as big as a NOOK to talk on, I would’ve been sold! Seeing as though I didn’t want that, I told the young lady I wanted a black iPhone, no accessories and I had gift cards to use, because yo, that’s how I roll!
I’m about 3 days in and so far so good. I had to ask my coworker yesterday about my voicemail and I set up some folders. She also let me borrow a phone case and forturnately when I got home, mine had arrived, I LOVE Amazon Prime! I also had to call Sprint, because I was not connected to Cellular Data, why no clue, but I was informed to connect my phone to my iTunes account and back it up, so I just did that this morning and now I have some of my music on my phone. I’m going to give this phone the old college try though. If I don’t like it within 14 days, I can make an exchange and I’ll go back to Android, but for right now, I’m enjoying the slim, sleekness and simplicity of it, it’s just like using my iPad, I just talk on it!
What is your cell phone of choice/use?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Traitor!!! LOL!!! #TeamAndroid
The iPhone is great it’s just too little for me now after having this big old gorgeous screen on my One X. I am still interested in the iPad mini though, but I want to wait until they improve the screen.
Lmao! I didn’t think I would do it, but I did. I was really concerned about the screen, because I was used to my Android’s nice, bigger screen, but so far, so good!
I didn’t know anything was wrong with the iPad Mini’s screen. We bought my nephew one for Christmas. And I talked myself out of getting the mine, because when I’m in my office, I watch TV on my iPad, that size is perfect for it.
Mini
Team iPhone! I have a 4 and I love it. No plans to switch over to a droid though I do think the Galaxy is a thing of beauty.
I keep thinking I want a Mini, but I can’t really justify one as I do very little on my current tablet outside of reading and the occasional Netflix viewing.
