>Two things and neither has anything to do with the blog challenge lol.
First, I’m so happy I picked up Terry McMillian’s latest book, Getting to Happy, the sequel to Waiting to Exhale. I’ve only read a little, but so far it’s reads like a winner!
Second, my 10 year old hard hat bonnet hair dryer decided to die after I had just shampooed my hair for a twist n curl. So I immediately went out and bought a new dryer by ION, but it only has 2 temp settings, hi, which felt like hell and low, barely blowing.
I tried it a few times and finally decided it was not going to work for me and returned it to Sally’s, thank GOD for their return policy. Now get this, I’m on a mad hunt to find a hair dryer that has more than 2 temp settins. My old Gold N Hot dryer had 4, with a cool and medium, respectively, which medium is the setting I used. So far, I’ve only found dryers that have the same 2 temp settings, I’ve been to Sallys and checked the Gold N Hot there, then Ulta, they don’t even sell that kind of hair dryer and then Walmart carries Conair and same deal. My friend sent me two links yesterday, but I just remembered I need to call the store before I order online and after talking to my sister last night, she told me to buy a Lady Dazey off of ebay, so I might consider that. The joys of hair. I will keep you posted.
In other hair news, I’m going to get my hair flat ironed and trimmed after work. I haven’t worn my hair straight since January when it took me 3 hours and 50 minutes to do it myself. I am a quick learner, my girlfriend will be doing it for me tonight.
Until I sign in again, Deuces,
