>Aftermath in Alabama

>
By now I’m sure everyone has heard of the devastation caused by tornadoes that wreaked havoc in our community. So much destruction, that our President and First lady will make a visit to our state tomorrow to view the damage!

Prayerfully my family and I were all safe from any harm or structural damage, but unfortunately I can’t say the same for everyone. Lives have been lost and well as homes destroyed. I’m really emotionally drained. I was without power for almost 2 days, so I didn’t see many of the pics, but I listened to a weather radio long enough to know it was not a pretty site. Here is a video.

I am once again reminded how truly blessed my family and I are! GOD ain’t through with us yet, he spared us! And I just want to thank him! Amen! I was home alone, but should’ve gone to hubs job since he offered, thought I would be fine and I was, but a little scared. I got in a safe place in the house with my flashlight, radio & phone! I just prayed, prayed, prayed! My soror/girlfriend had to tell me the storm had passed me and I could come out! I also want to thank my many friends that reached out via fb, twitter & text since the calls were sketchy! My thoughts and prayers are with the families of all affected and I will do my part to volunteer and donate to help our community in this dire time of need. Continue to pray!

Until I sign in again – Deuces,

Mrs. AKAtude
